The goal
Capture, revise, and export room documentation on iPhone and iPad without a server or account.
What I built
- Built an offline room library, RoomPlan capture adapter, and non-AR semantic-box viewer.
- Added copy-on-write editing and a ZIP export of the current revision.
Engineering decisions
- Treat file packages as the source of truth and SwiftData as a rebuildable index.
- Keep local room capture and editing independent of optional cloud and professional-service features.
Verification approach
- A deterministic simulator driver provides repeatable capture inputs for testing.
- The current-revision ZIP is inspectable rather than an opaque export.
